Belhaven black is brewed using a blend of roasted barley, black and chocolate malt. A deliciously smooth velvet stout, with a hint of sweet chocolate and a rich dark finish, without bitterness. In a survey, new drinkers to the category showed drinkers preferred the taste of Belhaven BLACK over the leading brand. An overall LIKING had Belhaven BLACK at 49% vs 45% for Guinness.
